MOLE REMOVAL
Removing unsightly moles from the face or body.
Eliminate any potential dangerous moles for peace of mind.
Moles can appear unsightly in different sizes across the body and face, hindering confidence and becoming annoying rubbing on clothes, and causing discomfort.
However harmless, it’s probably best to get moles checked by a Doctor as a safe solution with the minimum fuss and scarring.
Whether scars are removed for aesthetic reasons or to check for any abnormalities, moles can be removed safely delivering highly effective results.
PROCEDURE
Depending on the nature of the mole, after examination, the Doctor will discuss whether it is best to remove the mole surgically or offer a non-surgical solution.
Shaving or Excision of moles is a pain-free procedure requiring little downtime.
All moles are checked prior to undergoing treatment and any suspicious-looking moles are sent away to histology at a specialist lab.
WHERE THE SURGERY WILL BE PERFORMED
Mole removal is performed at LCAS, 15 Harley Street, London W1G 9QQ.
TYPE OF ANAESTHESIA
Depending on whether the mole is ‘shaved’ using a scalpel or an ‘excision’, the procedure can be carried out under a local anaesthetic. Stitches will usually be required which will heal to leave a minimal scar.
