There are many women who have had breast augmentation procedures who are happy with their results. However, there are some patients who are unhappy with their previous breast augmentation results performed by other surgeons. Some patients are especially unhappy by the un-natural look, or badly shaped breasts or sometimes their size is just too big. Patients end up distressed and have complexes about showing their breasts.

Patients do need to wait at least 6-months from their last surgery to ensure all swelling has gone down, and that the breasts have matured into place. In most cases, it is a simple change of implants from a larger size to a smaller one. Many doctors may not perform breast uplifts so they place overly large implants in the hope of ‘lifting’ the breasts. Sometimes, it is better to have a breast uplift with a smaller implant to give more proportional results.
